Today, Transjakarta Fare is Only Rp 12 for Passengers Using the App

The Transjakarta fare is only Rp 12 today. PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) stated that this special fare is in commemoration of its 12th anniversary. Quoting the Antara news agency on Friday (27/3/2026), the fare applies from 00:00 to 23:59 WIB for passengers using only the app. The Rp 12 fare is valid only today. “It can be enjoyed by customers who make payments through the TJ:Transjakarta app,” said the Head of Public Relations and CSR Department of Transjakarta, Ayu Wardhani. Ayu stated that this special fare policy is a form of Transjakarta’s appreciation to the community who have been loyal in using public transportation services. She also invited the public to use the Transjakarta digital app services. “We present this Rp 12 fare programme as a thank you to our loyal Transjakarta customers. We also want to encourage the public to make greater use of the convenience of digital services through the TJ:Transjakarta app,” said Ayu. Meanwhile, Ayu revealed that during the Eid al-Fitr period, a total of 1,135,547 people rode Transjakarta. The data was compiled on 21-22 March 2026. “The peak occurred on 22 March 2026 with a total of 697,519 customers in one day, a sharp increase compared to the previous day which recorded 438,028 customers,” said Ayu. Ayu stated that these figures align with the enthusiasm of the public celebrating Eid in Jakarta in utilising the special Rp 1 fare policy implemented on 21 and 22 March 2026.
