To the Palace: SMAN 2 Jakarta Students Get Up Close with the Presidential Institution
Jakarta (ANTARA) - A visit to the Office of the State Secretariat as part of the “Palace for School Students” programme provided students from State Senior High School (SMAN) 2 Jakarta with an opportunity to learn more closely about the presidential institution and meet Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. An official post from the State Secretariat, quoted from Jakarta on Thursday, reported the visit of 300 male and female students from SMAN 2 Jakarta today as part of the “Palace for School Children” programme, an initiative that opens up space for the younger generation to learn more closely about the presidential institution. One student from SMAN 2 Jakarta, Febi, said she was pleased to visit the Presidential Palace in Jakarta. “In my opinion, the Presidential Palace is very good. The place is cool and lush. The material presentation session earlier was also fun; the presenter was very inspiring for the younger generation,” said Febi. After the material distribution session, the participants had the opportunity to explore the Presidential Palace complex, see firsthand the government work environment, and understand the historical values within it. Not stopping there, the students were surprised by the presence of Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, who took a moment to greet the students from SMAN 2 Jakarta. Through this activity, the students from SMAN 2 Jakarta are expected to become even more motivated to develop their potential and dare to have high aspirations.
