To strengthen tuberculosis elimination, the Ministry of Health provides additional assistance to patients
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia is fully covering the costs of tuberculosis treatment, both drug-sensitive and drug-resistant TB, as part of the government’s ‘quick win’ programme to accelerate the elimination of cases in a massive and measurable way. Deputy Minister of Health, Benjamin Paulus Octavianus, stated on Thursday (25/2) that the government is also providing cash assistance and food support to vulnerable patients in the lowest income brackets to support treatment adherence.
