To Expand Digital Transactions, BRI Jemursari Enters the Coffee Lovers Community
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, through its Surabaya Jemursari Branch, has begun expanding its digital market penetration in the lifestyle sector. This step was taken by partnering with the expansive Tomoro Coffee retail network during a Business Matching event at Royal Regantris Cendana on Saturday (9/5/2026). The collaboration aims to integrate all payment transactions at Tomoro Coffee outlets using BRI’s acceptance device ecosystem, from EDC to QRIS. This initiative responds to the shifting consumer behaviour in Surabaya, where people are increasingly accustomed to non-cash (cashless) payment methods. According to him, partnering with a major brand like Tomoro Coffee will ensure sustainable digital transaction volumes. “We want to ensure that the payment ecosystem at Tomoro Coffee runs smoothly. Through the provision of BRI acceptance devices, we provide convenience to customers while strengthening the digital financial recording for the management side,” said Octarez. The Regional General Manager of Tomoro Coffee in East Java, Faisal Indra, welcomed the banking support in their business scheme. According to him, the reliability of the payment system is a determining factor in maintaining service speed at every outlet. “Speed is key in the contemporary coffee business. Support from BRI’s technology helps our operations become more efficient, especially in handling order surges during peak hours. We hope this collaboration will make it easier for our franchise partners to manage their transactions,” Faisal stated. Through this business matching, potential investors not only get an overview of business operations but also financing solutions and cash management provided by BRI. With this integration, Tomoro Coffee consumers in the East Java region can now enjoy various payment conveniences, while BRI strengthens its position as the primary banking partner for modern retail business actors.
