To Expand Business, Sinar Eka Selaras (ERAL) Officially Forms New Joint Venture - BCA Sekuritas
PT Sinar Eka Selaras Tbk (the Company), an issuer in retail and wholesale trading, has officially announced the formation of a joint venture with its strategic partner from Hong Kong, Pan Asia Indonesia Limited. The joint venture company, named PT Mega Cahaya Indonesia (MCI), has received legal entity approval as of 1 April 2026. Based on the material facts information report signed by SES Corporate Secretary Badar Teguh Mancik Alam, the establishment of this new entity aims to strengthen the Company’s business reach in the visual technology supply sector. PT Mega Cahaya Indonesia will focus on the wholesale trading of LED display products, videotrons, smartboards, and providing related technical support in the Indonesian region. The capital structure and investment in the formation of the joint venture PT Mega Cahaya Indonesia total Rp10.1 billion, with share ownership composition consisting of PT Sinar Eka Selaras Tbk as the majority holder at 70% or equivalent to Rp7.07 billion, and Pan Asia Indonesia Limited holding 30% shares or equivalent to Rp3.03 billion. All contributed capital comes from internal cash funds of each party. Management confirms that there is no affiliation relationship between the Company and Pan Asia Indonesia Limited in this transaction. Through the disclosure of information, SES management states that this strategic step will have a positive impact on adding a new business line. The presence of PT Mega Cahaya Indonesia is expected to strengthen operational fundamentals and support the Company’s business continuity in the future as part of the Erajaya Group. The establishment of this joint venture company is legally declared valid and effective since early April 2026, following the issuance of the Minister of Law and Human Rights’ decision regarding the approval of its legal entity establishment.
