TNI Validates Organisation; Deddy Suryadi Promoted to Three-Star General as Jaya Military Commander

TNI headquarters has validated the organisational structure of the Jaya Regional Command (Kodam Jaya) to be led by a three-star ranking TNI Army officer.

The announcement was made by the Head of Information Centre (Kapuspen) at TNI headquarters, Brigadier General Aulia Dwi Nasrullah, in response to enquiries about the Kodam Jaya organisational validation.

“This measure is being taken to ensure the TNI organisation remains adaptive to the challenges of dynamic operational tasks,” Aulia stated in a text message response to ANTARA in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Aulia did not provide detailed explanation regarding the urgency of TNI headquarters validating the Kodam Jaya organisation. He only assured that every decision made by TNI headquarters, including organisational validation, job rotation, and other technical matters, had undergone careful consideration to strengthen national security.

“Every decision is made based on considerations to support the execution of TNI’s primary duties,” Aulia said.

In the same message, Aulia also confirmed that Major General Deddy Suryadi will lead Kodam Jaya. Deddy Suryadi currently holds the rank of Major General (two-star) and serves as the Jaya Military Commander. Although his promotion has been confirmed, TNI headquarters has not yet determined when the promotion ceremony from Major General to Lieutenant General rank will be held.
