“The three fallen soldiers have received posthumous promotions for military operations other than war and the Dag Hammarskjöld Medal,” stated TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto in an official press release received in Jakarta on Wednesday (1/4/2026).

The compensation amount includes educational scholarships for the soldiers’ children and various other entitlements.

TNI is still awaiting the results of the investigation from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) regarding the matter.
