TNI-Polri Synergy Strengthened: Metro Jaya Police Chief and Jaya Military Commander Visit Brimob Headquarters
Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner General Asep Edi Suheri and Jaya Military Commander Lieutenant General Deddy Suryadi conducted a friendly visit to the Indonesian Police Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob) Headquarters in Kelapa Dua, Depok. The visit was part of efforts to strengthen TNI-Polri solidarity and synergy in maintaining security stability while supporting various strategic national agendas.
The visit was warmly received by Brimob Commander Commissioner General Ramdani Hidayat. Also in attendance were Deputy Brimob Commander Inspector General Reza Arief Dewanto, Commander of the Brimob Pioneer Regiment Brigadier General Gatot Mangkurat PPJ, and Commander of the Brimob Gegana Regiment Brigadier General Mulyadi.
Accompanying the Metro Jaya Police Chief and Jaya Military Commander were Jaya Military Command Chief of Staff Brigadier General Chandra Ariyadi, Assistant for Intelligence Brigadier General Sri Marantika Beruh, Metro Jaya Police Brimob Unit Commander Senior Commissioner Henik Maryanto, and Metro Jaya Police Public Relations Head Senior Commissioner Budi Hermanto. The meeting took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere, discussing the strengthening of inter-unit synergy, improved coordination, and preparedness to face various public order and security dynamics in the Jakarta area.
During the meeting, Brimob Commander Commissioner General Ramdani Hidayat affirmed the corps’ readiness to support the Metro Jaya Police and Jaya Military Command in securing the capital through close collaboration and personnel preparedness. “Brimob is ready to synergise and support every step taken by the Metro Jaya Police and Jaya Military Command in maintaining security in Jakarta. With our capabilities and readiness, we are prepared to be deployed whenever needed to ensure security stability and provide the best protection to the public,” he stated.
Jaya Military Commander Lieutenant General Deddy Suryadi stressed that success in securing Jakarta requires synergy that is built comprehensively across all levels of the organisation, ensuring that every policy and task execution can proceed in harmony. “Jakarta holds a very strategic meaning for the nation and state. Therefore, TNI-Polri synergy must be built strongly, from the leadership level down to every personnel in the field. Solidarity from top to bottom is our main strength in preserving the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia while ensuring that all public activities and national agendas can run safely, orderly, and conducively,” he said.
Metro Jaya Police Chief Commissioner General Asep Edi Suheri added that TNI-Polri solidarity is not only a force in facing security challenges but also a fundamental pillar in maintaining national unity and integrity. “The TNI and Polri are both a force and the main pillars of the nation in safeguarding the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Therefore, we must continuously nurture solidarity, communication, and coordination so that the state is always present to provide a sense of security to the public and maintain national stability,” he stated.
