TNI-Polri Deployed to Secure President's Visit for LRT Inauguration

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Hundreds of joint personnel from the TNI and Polri have been deployed to ensure the security of the visit of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, during the inauguration ceremony of the Kelapa Gading–Manggarai Light Rail Transit (LRT) integration line on Wednesday afternoon.

“There are a total of 622 joint personnel, consisting of Polri members, TNI soldiers, and other security unit elements,” said the Commander of the 0502/North Jakarta District Military Command, Colonel Inf Mohammad Syaifuddin Fanany, while leading a troop assembly in Jakarta on Wednesday.

He emphasised the importance of discipline and full readiness of all personnel, including those performing both open and undercover security duties.

“Ahead of the arrival, everyone has taken their respective positions. This large-scale security preparation has been designed well in advance,” he said.
