TNI Personnel Changes: Head of Press Centre and Bais Secretary Replaced, Brigadier General Frega Appointed as DPN Deputy

TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto has carried out rotations and promotions within the TNI across its three branches. Information obtained by Republika indicates that among the positions changed is the Head of the TNI Press Centre (Kapuspen), from Major General Aulia Dwi Nasrullah to Brigadier General Muhammad Nas. Nas, who currently serves as Assistant for Intelligence to the Kostrad Chief of Staff (Asintel Kaskostrad), will earn a two-star rank in his new position. Both Major General Aulia and Brigadier General Nas are graduates of the Military Academy (Akmil) class of 1998. When confirmed by Republika, Aulia did not respond to the questions posed. Aulia is reported to be taking up the position of Deputy Head of the TNI Strategic Intelligence Agency (Bais). The position of Secretary of the TNI Bais will now be held by Air Commodore Yudy Mandega R, who previously served as Deputy Assistant for Intelligence (Waasintel) to the Air Force Chief of Staff. A promotion has been granted to Brigadier General Frega Ferdinand Wenas Inkiriwang, Director of Defence Strategy Policy at the Directorate General of Strategy and Defence at the Ministry of Defence, to become Deputy for Geostrategy at the National Defence Council (DPN). When confirmed regarding his promotion, he affirmed it. “The information is as such,” said the former Head of the Defence Information Bureau at the Ministry of Defence Secretariat General.
