TNI Falls in Lebanon, Persis PP: Insha Allah Martyred in Peacekeeping Mission

Three TNI personnel died after being killed by Israel in Lebanon. The Chairman of the Foreign Relations Working Field of the Persis Central Leadership, Ustadz Arip Rahman, expressed profound condolences and condemned Zionist Israel in the strongest terms. He also stated that the TNI personnel who died in Lebanon while carrying out their peacekeeping duties passed away in a state of martyrdom. “Insha Allah syahid, because (the TNI personnel were) defending Muslims, defending the oppressed ummah,” said Ustadz Arip to Republika on Tuesday (31/3/2026). Ustadz Arip added that the death of the TNI soldiers in Lebanon is insha Allah considered martyrdom because they were carrying out a peacekeeping mission in Lebanon for their brothers, the Lebanese and Palestinian nations, who are being oppressed by the Israeli occupiers supported by the United States (US). Martyrdom according to this hasan sahih hadith: “Whoever dies defending his property, he dies a martyr; whoever dies defending his religion, he is a martyr; whoever fights to defend his blood (life), he is a martyr; and whoever dies defending his family that is oppressed, he dies a martyr.” (HR Imam At-Tirmidzi).
