TNI Commander Calls for Adaptive Generation Among Taruna Nusantara Alumni
Jakarta (ANTARA) - TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto stated that Taruna Nusantara Senior High School alumni must become an adaptive, character-driven, and integrity-focused generation amid global developments.
His message was delivered while presiding over the 34th Taruna Nusantara Senior High School Alumni Oath Ceremony in Magelang, Central Java, on Saturday.
“Advancements in science, digital technology, artificial intelligence, and global geopolitical dynamics demand a young generation that is adaptive, creative, character-driven, and possesses strong nationalism,” he said, according to an official statement from Jakarta.
Meanwhile, 367 students have officially graduated after completing three years of academic and character-building education.
The TNI’s highest leader also praised all students for successfully completing their education.
He stated that the cadets have been moulded into a disciplined, integrity-driven generation with leadership qualities, patriotism, and love for the nation.
“You have left your family comforts to be shaped in an environment that instils discipline, integrity, leadership, nationalism, and love for the homeland,” he said.
At the conclusion of his speech, he urged alumni to maintain their character and integrity as they continue to contribute, serve, and work towards Indonesia’s Golden 2045 vision.
Attendees included Minister of State Secretariat Prasetyo Hadi, Admiral Muhammad Ali (Chief of Staff of the Navy), Dharma Pertiwi Chairperson Evi Agus Subiyanto, Major General (Retired) Eddy Syahputra Siahaan (Secretary General of the Defence Resources Potential Development Foundation), Major General Rano M. A Tilaar (Governor of the Military Academy), Taruna Nusantara Senior High School Principal, Central Java regional leadership representatives, and other guests.
