TNI Commander Appoints New Pangkogabwilhan III and TNI Aster Officials
Jakarta (ANTARA) - TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto has appointed several high-ranking TNI officers to occupy strategic positions, ranging from Head of Territorial Staff (Kaster) TNI to Commander of the Joint Regional Defence Command (Pangkogabwilhan) III, on Thursday. An official press release received in Jakarta explained that the appointment ceremony was held at the Gatot Soebroto Auditorium, TNI Headquarters, Cilangkap, East Jakarta. In the ceremony, Lieutenant General Lucky Avianto was appointed as Pangkogabwilhan III, replacing Lieutenant General Bambang Trisnohadi. Bambang Trisnohadi himself has now received a new position as Kaster TNI. Furthermore, Major General Tugino, who previously served as Head of Military Police II Jakarta, has now been entrusted with the role of Inspector General (Orjen) TNI Babinkum TNI. In addition, Lieutenant General Deddy Suryadi was appointed as Pangdam Jaya after the position underwent organisational validation. A total of 57 TNI high-ranking officers were appointed to new positions in today’s ceremony. The 57 officers consist of 47 from TNI AD, 9 from TNI AL, and 1 from TNI AU. Several Navy officials were appointed to new positions, including Commander of Air Naval Base XI of the Indonesian Fleet Command currently held by Rear Admiral Joko Andriyanto, and Commander of Air Naval Base X currently held by Rear Admiral (Marine) Sugianto. From the Air Force, the position of Permanent Lecturer at the National Defence University is now held by Air Commodore Sigit Sasongko. The TNI hopes that the appointment of these new officials will strengthen the organisation through leadership regeneration within the institution.
