TNI Chief Inducts Cendrawasih Regional Commander and Several Key TNI Officials
TNI Chief General Agus Subiyanto has inducted several high-ranking officials to occupy strategic positions, including the appointment of Major General Febriel Buyung Sikumbang as Commander of the XVII/Cendrawasih Military Regional Command.
Buyung assumed the position previously held by Major General Amrin Ibrahim.
In an official press release received in Jakarta on Thursday (26/3), it was explained that the induction ceremony took place at TNI Headquarters, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, on Wednesday (25/3).
Buyung was not the only one inducted into a new position. Several other TNI officials were also appointed on that day, including Brigadier General (Marine) Sugianto as Commander of the X Naval Component Command, Brigadier General Vivin Alvianto as Commander of the 173/PVB Military Resort, and Brigadier General Robby Suryadi as Commander of the 172/PWY Military Resort.
Additionally, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Teuku Jozanda was appointed as Commander of the 1710/Mimika District Military Command under the 173/PVB Military Area Command of Kodam XVII/Cen; Major Cpm M. Harlan Pariyatman as Head of the XVII/1 Nabire Military Police Detachment of Pomdam XVII/Cen; Lieutenant Colonel Czi Riznu Fitra Bhuwana Tombolotutu as Commander of the 2/XVII Nabire Technical Maintenance Depot of Zidam XVII/Cen; Lieutenant Colonel Inf Derek Serebi Rumbino as Commander of the 1716/Tolikara District Military Command; and Lieutenant Colonel Inf Nasser Khaled as Head of the Intelligence Detachment of Kodam XVII/Cendrawasih.
In the Navy branch, several officials filled new positions, including Lieutenant Colonel (P) Mario Marco Wainarisi as Head of Nabire Naval Base and Lieutenant Colonel Raka Momon Saputra as Head of the Military Police of the X Naval Component Command under the Indonesian Fleet Command.
In the air force branch, only one official was inducted, namely Lieutenant Colonel Pas Mansyur M. as Commander of the Quick Reaction Force Corps Task Force.
The press release stated that several high-ranking officials attended the induction ceremony at Mabes Cilangkap, including Army Chief of Staff General Maruli Simanjuntak, Navy Chief of Staff Admiral Muhammad Ali, and Air Force Chief of Staff Marshal Mohamad Tonny Harjono.
