TNI Cancels Appointment of Soldier Aloysius Dalo Due to Forged SKCK, Despite Being a Suspect in Indecent Assault Case
The Indonesian Army has annulled the appointment of Aloysius Dalo Odjan as a soldier due to issues found with the Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK) used during the candidate selection process for recruits.
The Head of Information for Kodam IX/Udayana, Colonel Infantry Widi Rahman, in Denpasar on Wednesday, explained that TNI AD cancelled the Appointment Decree (Skep) for Aloysius Dalo Odjan as Private Second Class in Bali because the administrative document in the form of the SKCK did not match the actual legal situation.
“There are indications that the information in the SKCK does not fully reflect the real situation, particularly regarding the individual’s history of legal issues before participating in the recruitment process,” said Widi.
He explained that TNI AD requires all prospective soldiers to strictly meet administrative requirements in every recruitment process.
The Kodam information chief explained the timeline of the SKCK owned by Aloysius Dalo Odjan, which was initially issued by the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police when he participated in the selection as administrative support.
The selection committee stated that all documents, including the SKCK, were complete, so the individual could proceed through the selection stages until declared passed.
However, TNI AD conducted a follow-up investigation with relevant parties after information emerged in the public domain regarding alleged legal issues involving Aloysius Dalo Odjan.
It turned out that Aloysius Dalo Odjan was involved in a criminal act on 30 August 2025. The victim of Aloysius Dalo Odjan’s actions then filed a police report at the East Flores Resort Police on 31 August 2025.
On 23 September 2025, Aloysius Dalo Odjan was designated as a suspect in the alleged indecent assault case. However, he obtained the SKCK from the East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Police, issued on 3 October 2025.
After that, Aloysius Dalo Odjan was added to the wanted persons list (DPO) by the East Flores Resort Police on 16 October 2025.
“Information regarding the case was known to the Commander of Korem 161/Wira Sakti through social media on 27 January 2026, so the Commander of Korem 161/Wira Sakti submitted a special report on 29 January 2026,” said Widi.
“If there are allegations of legal violations related to the issuance or use of the SKCK from the police, that matter is the authority of law enforcement apparatus from the police institution to conduct further investigation and handling in accordance with applicable provisions,” said the Kodam information chief.
