JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Commander of the Headquarters Detachment (Dandenma) of TNI BAIS, Colonel Infantry Heri Heryadi, has confirmed that there was no order given to his personnel regarding the acid attack on Andrie Yunus, Deputy Coordinator of the Commission for Missing Persons and Victims of Violence (KontraS).

Heri made this statement while appearing as a witness in a trial held by the Military Auditor II-7 Jakarta at the Military Court on Wednesday (6/5/2026).

Presiding Judge Fredy Ferdian directly asked whether there was any order from the Dandenma related to the acid-spraying incident.

“Ready, there was none, Your Honour,” Heri replied.

The judge then reminded Heri that he had been sworn in before giving his testimony.

“You have been sworn in, brother,” the judge said.

“Ready, there was none,” Heri replied again.

The judge highlighted the fact that the perpetrators consisted of three officers and one non-commissioned officer, making it difficult to believe they acted on their own without the knowledge of their superiors.

“Because it’s impossible for three officers and one NCO to work alone. The Dandenma is responsible. How about that?” the judge asked.

“Ready. Permission. We never ordered it, including during command hours or roll calls; we never mentioned anything outside of that. We only discuss or address matters within our scope because our activities are quite intensive, and in terms of personnel, we are only fulfilled at around 52 percent,” Heri stated.

He explained that the current number of personnel in the TNI BAIS Detachment is far from the ideal requirement.
