TNI awards extraordinary promotions to 23 personnel for dedication in Papua

Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Commander General Agus Subiyanto has granted extraordinary promotions (KPLB) to 23 personnel for their exceptional dedication and involvement in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty in Papua. The promotion ceremony was held at the 754/ENK Infantry Battalion headquarters in Timika, Central Papua, on Sunday (5/7). General Agus stated that their dedication in carrying out their duties should serve as an example for all TNI personnel wherever they are stationed. During the same visit, General Agus, accompanied by Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, inspected the Centralized Building, also located at the 754/ENK Infantry Battalion headquarters in Timika, Central Papua. The facility serves as a modern command and administration centre to support unit readiness. General Agus expressed hope that these supporting facilities and infrastructure would enhance the operational capabilities of TNI personnel in the field.
