TNBTS reopens tourism activities at Ranu Regulo from 21 March
Malang, East Java (ANTARA) - The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Authority (TNBTS) will reopen Ranu Regulo for tourism activities on Saturday (21/3), after it was previously closed due to extreme weather.
The Head of TNBTS, Rudijanta Tjahja Nugraha, in Malang City, East Java, on Wednesday, stated that the decision to reopen Ranu Regulo takes into account the results of coordination and meetings within the agency’s internal environment.
“Ranu Regulo area will be reopened for tourism activities starting 21 March 2026,” said Rudi.
The announcement of the reopening of Ranu Regulo has also been announced by TNBTS through Announcement Letter No: PG.3/T.8/TU/HMS.01.08/03/2026, issued today.
Rudi stated that services in the tourism area will operate from 08:00 WIB to 16:00 WIB.
Specifically, non-camping visit activities within the Ranu Regulo area will be conducted up to a maximum of 17:00 WIB.
Meanwhile, the camping quota is set at 300 people per day for two days and one night.
