TKA Results for Primary and Junior High Schools to Be Announced on 26 May 2026
Based on information from the BSKAP Kemendikdasmen Instagram account (@litbangdikbud), the results of the Academic Capability Test (TKA) for primary and junior high schools will be announced on Tuesday, 26 May 2026. It is important to note that TKA does not determine graduation and is solely for understanding students’ academic performance.
Are TKA scores included on graduation certificates?
TKA results are not included in graduation certificates, but are issued through an official Academic Capability Test Results Certificate (SKTKA) published by Kemendikdasmen. This certificate details students’ scores and performance categories.
TKA is not mandatory and does not determine graduation.
According to the official Kemendikdasmen website, TKA does not determine graduation and is not compulsory. The test aims to assess students’ academic performance.
Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu’ti stated: “TKA is not a graduation exam and is not compulsory. Its purpose is to assist educational institutions, local governments, and stakeholders in understanding the actual academic performance of students, enabling more targeted learning improvements.”
Additionally, Head of the Agency for Education Standards, Curriculum, and Assessment (BSKAP) Toni Toharudin added that TKA is designed as a national diagnostic tool to assess students’ academic abilities fairly, contextually, and sustainably.
“TKA data serves as a starting point for improvement, not an endpoint. The results will be used to strengthen in-depth learning, refine curricula, and enhance teaching quality,” he said.
“All assessment processes will be conducted digitally, taking into account infrastructure readiness and regional conditions. Adjustment mechanisms will be prepared to address technical challenges on the ground,” Toharudin added.
