Tipped Off, Prabowo Says Mountain of Rp49 Trillion in Funds to Be Handed Over Next Month

President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto stated that seized funds amounting to Rp49 trillion will be handed over to the state next month.

Prabowo made this remark while attending the handover ceremony of administrative fines in the form of Rp10.2 trillion in cash and 2.3 million hectares of land, resulting from the work of the Forest Area Regulation Task Force (Satgas PKH), which was presented by the Attorney General’s Office to Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa.

Prabowo initially expressed delight at being invited by the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) and Satgas PKH, noting that every event features tens of trillions of rupiah in cash.

“I believe this is the fourth such event. The total handover over the four times is approximately Rp40 trillion,” said Prabowo.

“I am pleased to be invited to events like this continuously. Every invitation allows me to see physically Rp10 trillion,” he added.

He then revealed that he had received a tip-off about the handover of Rp10 trillion and Rp39 trillion in funds belonging to corruptors stored in unclear accounts.

“I also received a whisper that next month there will be a handover of Rp11 trillion, they say. And I also received a report that there is approximately Rp39 trillion in unclear funds. These corruptors or criminals may have fled Indonesia or passed away, leaving their money in unclear accounts,” he explained.

Previously, it was reported that Attorney General ST Burhanuddin handed over the results of administrative fines from the Forest Area Regulation Task Force (PKH) to Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa.

The fines handed over amounted to Rp10.2 trillion and 2.3 million hectares of land. The handover took place at the Attorney General’s Office on Wednesday, 13 May 2026.

President Prabowo Subianto witnessed the handover of the seized funds from the Satgas PKH’s efforts directly.

“We are reporting and handing over the funds from the follow-up actions on forest area regulation by Satgas PKH to the state through the Ministry of Finance, totaling Rp10.2 trillion to be deposited into the state treasury,” said the Attorney General.

He explained that the fine proceeds would be used for PBB and non-PBB taxes. According to him, this handover is not merely ceremonial but evidence of the work of Satgas PKH.
