Tina Wiryawati: Idul Adha Spirit Must Drive Social Solidarity
BANDUNG – Amid the lingering atmosphere of the post-Idul Adha 1447 Hijriah celebrations across various regions, West Java DPRD member Tina Wiryawati has called on the public to embrace Idul Adha as an opportunity to strengthen social solidarity and compassion towards others.
According to Tina, Idul Adha carries important messages of sincerity, sacrifice, and social responsibility that are relevant to current societal conditions, especially amidst ongoing economic challenges and evolving social dynamics.
“Idul Adha reminds us that the values of sacrifice and compassion must not end with the annual celebration. The spirit of sharing and support for the community must be present in daily life,” Tina said on Saturday (30/5/2026).
She noted that the sacrificial rituals performed by the community reflect a strong spirit of mutual assistance and social solidarity, which are characteristic of the Indonesian nation, particularly in West Java.
The member of Commission III also stressed the importance of maintaining unity and social empathy in situations that require mutual strengthening.
“When West Java’s people still face various economic and social issues, togetherness becomes crucial. Idul Adha teaches that a nation’s strength emerges from mutual care,” she said.
Tina hopes that the values of Idul Adha continue to permeate various aspects of community life, from mutual aid culture, strengthening social harmony, to maintaining collective optimism in facing future challenges.
