Timothy Ivan Triyono Resigns from Position as Deputy II of Government Communications Agency

The Head of the Government Communications Agency (Kabakom), Muhammad Qodari, has revealed that Timothy Ivan Triyono, Deputy II for Material and Dissemination of Bakom, has resigned from his position. He stepped down today.

“Today, 2 October 2026, the Deputy II for Material and Dissemination of the Government Communications Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (Bakom RI), Mr Timothy Ivan Triyono, has submitted his resignation from his position,” Qodari stated in a briefing on Friday (2/10/2026).

Qodari noted that the decision to resign was made by Timothy of his own volition to undergo introspection. “In his resignation letter, Mr Timothy stated that the decision was made to engage in self-reflection and to organise his future steps in order to become a better individual,” he said.

Qodery also expressed appreciation for Timothy’s dedication during his tenure. “As the Head of Bakom RI, I and the entire staff express our gratitude and appreciation for the dedication and contribution of Mr Timothy during his duties as Deputy II of Bakom RI over the last five months,” he remarked.

Qodari emphasised that Timothy’s resignation would not affect the duties and functions of Bakom. He clarified that Bakom will continue to implement improvements and refinements to ensure government programmes run effectively.

“Bakom RI affirms that Mr Timothy’s resignation does not affect the execution of the duties and functions of Bakom RI in orchestrating the communication and information of policies and strategic government programmes as mandated by legislation,” he said.

“Bakom RI will continue to carry out improvements and refinements to ensure that the strategic programmes of the government under the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto proceed smoothly,” he concluded.
