Timor to get water plant
JAKARTA (JP): PT Aguamor Timorindo will invest Rp 2.03 billion (US$845,961) to build a purified drinking water plant in East Timor, head of the East Timor Investment Coordinating Board, Basyirudin Yusuf, said in Dili over the weekend.
He said the opening of the planned plant was expected to lower the price of purified drinking water in East Timor. It currently costs between Rp 12,000 and Rp 15,000 per gallon and between Rp 9,000 and Rp 10,000 per box of 48 220-milliliter cups. (10)
