Timor needs more vocational schools

DILI, East Timor: The province needs more vocational schools
to help harness its economic potential, governor Abilio Jose
Osorio Soares says.

"The region has tremendous agricultural potential, therefore
it would be ideal to establish vocational courses in that field,"
he said as quoted by Antara.

Acknowledging the importance of education in determining the
success of regional development, Soares said any kind of
development which neglected the quality of human resources would
