Timeline of Man Who Killed and Threw Woman from BORR Toll Bridge Before Stealing Her Car

Police arrested M Febryan (MF), also known as Ambon (26), the man who killed and dumped the body of a woman identified as AA (25) from the BORR toll bridge. The suspect killed the victim inside her own car. ‘The killing took place inside the car in the Pakansari area, near Pakansari Stadium. The victim was strangled with a tie brought by the suspect,’ said Bogor City Police Chief Kombes Rio Wahyu Anggoro during a press conference on Monday, 25 May 2026. The suspect had prepared a tie and a machete to kill the victim. He then threw the weakened victim from the BORR toll bridge onto Sholeh Iskandar Road (Sholis) in Bogor City. Rio stated that the suspect drove around with the unconscious victim in the car. Upon entering the BORR toll bridge, he threw her off, causing her to fall onto Sholis Road. ‘After being strangled and losing consciousness, the victim was driven around while unconscious. According to the suspect’s statement, the victim moved when they entered the Yasmin or Sholeh Iskandar area,’ Rio said. The moment the victim’s body fell from the BORR toll bridge was captured on CCTV, with the video going viral on social media. Febryan then fled with the victim’s car. ‘The incident as shown in the video, where [the victim] was thrown from the toll road down below. This is an extremely barbaric act in our view. The victim fell down, and the car was driven towards Garut,’ he added. Bogor City Police Crime Investigation Unit Chief AKP Bagus Azi Lesmana added that the suspect had prepared a machete for the murder plan, intending to use it if the victim resisted. ‘The machete was not used as the victim had already fainted when strangled with the blue tie. The machete was intended for use if there was resistance,’ Azi said. AA’s body was found dead on Sholeh Iskandar Road, Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City, at around 1:15 am WIB on Saturday, 23 May. The victim had said goodbye to go for coffee on Friday, 22 May, at around 10:00 pm. The victim is suspected to have been killed by suspect M Febryan. Police arrested Febryan after he fled with the victim’s car; he overturned his vehicle on the toll road while evading police pursuit. Motive: Resentment The victim and suspect were former high school friends who reunited. During their first meeting, the suspect claimed to have been hurt by the victim’s comments about his parents. ‘On 2 May 2026, they met at Air Mancur, where the victim asked the suspect about his parents’ wellbeing. The suspect replied, ‘I no longer have parents,’ leading to statements that caused him deep resentment,’ said Kombes Rio. Using the motive of resentment, the suspect planned a second meeting with the intention to kill the victim. He carried a machete and a blue tie in his bag for the murder. ‘Due to deep resentment, two weeks later, the suspect arranged a meeting with the victim on Friday, 22 May. At the second meeting, the victim was unaware the suspect had prepared the weapons,’ Rio said.
