Timeline of Fatal Assault on Bruneian Foreign National in Blok M

Polda Metro Jaya has revealed the timeline of a fatal assault involving two Bruneian nationals in the Blok M area of Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. Head of Public Relations for Polda Metro Jaya Senior Police Commissioner Budi Hermanto stated on Tuesday that the incident, sparked by a verbal altercation, resulted in victim MHF (30) being killed after being struck with a glass bottle by suspect MIA (33). “The incident began just before dawn when victim MHF was at Blok M Hub with a witness. Shortly after, several others arrived and joined him, sitting and chatting casually around the area,” Budi said. “The situation changed at around 3.28am WIB when suspect MIA arrived at the scene with a companion in a car. Upon exiting the vehicle, MIA was seen carrying a black paper bag, which is suspected to contain a glass bottle,” Budi added. “MIA then approached the victim, leading to a heated argument at the entrance of Blok M Hub. The dispute continued until they moved to the front of Restu Sport store,” Budi explained.
