REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG BARAT – A primary school pupil with initials ASA (12) was found dead, drenched in blood, at her home in Kampung Warung Tiwu, RT 02/16, Desa Cipatat, Kecamatan Cipatat, Bandung Barat Regency (KBB), West Java, on Tuesday (3/3/2026). Police found multiple wounds on her body suspected to be from a sharp weapon. ‘The crime-scene examination results by the Inafis team of the Cimahi Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit found four wounds on the victim’s body. The neck wound, and then the most on the back,’ said Cipatat Police Chief, Comm. Iwan Setiawan at the scene on Tuesday (3/3/2026). The child, who was still in the sixth grade at SDN 1 Sukarame Cipatat, was first found by her mother around 16:00 WIB. At that time, her mother had just returned after completing a series of routines, from work to serving as a Qur’an teacher near their home. ‘So her mother entered the house after teaching (ngaji), then she searched for her child because she usually would greet. The witness then went upstairs, the witness said, checked the bathroom and the child was not there. She searched for her child in the upstairs room; there was a mattress in an overturned position, and after it was moved, the victim was found not breathing,’ said Iwan. According to the crime scene, the victim’s mobile phone was missing. However, the phone’s disappearance has not yet confirmed whether the victim was the victim of robbery with violence or not.
