Residents say the tilted power pole on Jalan Krapu, Pademangan, North Jakarta, has not been repaired for about three months. One resident, Arifin (43), said the pole leaning toward the road has been left in its leaning state up to now. ‘It’s been a long time that it hasn’t been properly fixed. About three months, it hasn’t been fixed,’ Arifin said when approached at the scene on Friday, 6 March 2026. He said the cables around the pole had been snagged by passing vehicles. ‘It’s dangerous indeed, there have been times when something got snagged. The cables opposite have been cut. Here the containers are tall,’ he said. Arifin also admitted that he is worried large vehicles passing at night won’t notice the leaning pole and the dangling cables. In agreement, another resident Pian (30) said the pole has indeed been leaning for a long time. ‘Never repaired, it’s always like this. This is the plan to report indeed. I don’t know what the outcome will be,’ he said. Pian hopes that the condition of the pole and cables can be repaired and tidied up soon to avoid danger. ‘Yes, that’s what I want (tidied up) to be safe,’ he added. Earlier it was reported that the pole on Jalan Krapu, Pademangan, North Jakarta, was leaning toward the road. Residents nearby worry about the pole that could topple. An observation by Kompas.com at the scene on Friday, 6 March 2026, the electricity pole is located right in front of the Pasar Ikan Pump Station.
