Tight security at The Corrs' concert

JAKARTA (JP): People attending the Feb. 27 concert of Irish
band The Corrs in Jakarta will be searched before they enter the
venue, organizers said here.

"We are going to check people's bags. I hope they will
understand," the concert organizer, Andre S, said.

The Corrs, comprising Jim, Caroline, Sharon and Andrea and
popular for the songs Radio and Run Away, will put on a one-day
concert called In Blue here amid the rising political tension in
the country, Antara reported.

"I have received a letter from The Corrs' manager confirming
the group's readiness to hold a concert here," he said Tuesday.

Andre said 64 percent of the tickets had been sold.
Ticket prices range from Rp 245,000 to Rp 500,000. (sim)
