Tigaraksa pays dividends

JAKARTA (JP): PT Tigaraksa Satria, a wholesale trading company
listed on the Jakarta and Surabaya stock exchanges, will pay a
cash dividend of Rp 150 (6.7 U.S. cents) per share for the 1994
book year.

The dividend, accounting for around 30 percent of the
company's earnings per share (EPS), will be paid in July, the
company announced yesterday at their shareholders meeting.

The shareholders approved the company's 1994 balance sheet,
which reported a 22 percent increase in both net sales and after-
tax profit.

The net sales rose 22.23 percent to Rp 393.4 billion in 1994
from Rp 321.9 billion in 1993, while the after-tax profit
increased 22.46 percent to Rp 16.64 billion from Rp 13.59
billion.

The meeting also endorsed the establishment of a steering
committee made up of independent experts, members of the
supervisory and executive boards. The committee will be
responsible for formulating and supervising the company's
business strategy. (hen)
