Tickertape parade for South Korea

SEOUL: The South Korean football team will be given a
motorcade parade through Seoul next Tuesday as part of a
celebration of their success in becoming the first Asian team to
reach the World Cup semi-finals.

Anticipating huge crowds on the streets, as there have been
for South Korea's matches, the authorities announced Friday that
much of central Seoul will be closed off for the parade and a
ceremony for special awards to be given to the team. --AFP
