Thumbs up to city police

JAKARTA (JP): Russia's consulate general commended Jakarta's
police department yesterday for finding the consulate's missing
minibus.

The letter of appreciation, signed by Consul General FN Pose
Lianov, was received by City Police Chief Maj. Gen. Dibyo Widodo.

The consulate general highly appreciates the professionalism
shown by the Jakarta police, read the statement.

First Lt. Sunggada, who led the operation, was also given
special mention.

The stolen Toyota Kijang minibus was found by the police a few
days after it was reported stolen, though police would not say
how or where it was found. (bsr)
