Dompet Dhuafa has once again distributed humanitarian aid to Palestine through the ‘Protect the Guardians of Al-Aqsa’ campaign, which is one of the main programmes this Ramadan.

Previously, Dompet Dhuafa also donated 300 copies of the Quran as a waqf (endowment) in anticipation of Ramadan 1447 Hijri, so that it can be used by the community around the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Chairman of the Dompet Dhuafa Board of Trustees, Ahmad Juwaini, said that the distribution of the Quran and assistance for SMEs in the area were part of a campaign to provide support to the Palestinian people.

The humanitarian team deployed is part of Dompet Dhuafa’s wave of good deeds in overseeing the distribution of aid to the Palestinian territories, both through Jordan, Egypt, and Lebanon, and directly to the West Bank, including the city of Jerusalem.

The administrators of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Majedi, also expressed their gratitude. He appreciated the concern of the Indonesian people for the Palestinian people around the mosque.

“We always invite and urge our brothers and sisters from all over the world to make the pilgrimage to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and emphasise the importance of visiting this blessed place,” he said.
