Through Paintings, SBY and German Artist Convey Message of Peace

Paintings by Indonesia’s 6th President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) are being exhibited alongside works by artists from the SBY Art Community (SAC) and German artist Lehmpfuhl in an exhibition titled ‘Art for Peace and a Better Future: Collaboration’ at the Emiria Soenassa Gallery, Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), Jakarta, Sunday (23/8/2026).

The exhibition, which runs until 30 August 2026, presents works that explore the relationship between humans and the environment, as well as the impact of destruction caused by war. Through art, the exhibition conveys the message that art can serve as a universal language to unite, inspire, and voice peace and hope for a better future.
