Through innovation, villages are able to achieve food security (part 1)

Food security has become one of the government’s priority agendas at present. Various efforts are being undertaken to achieve food independence, not only through policies at the central level but also down to the village level.

To support food security in rural areas, the government has issued a regulation, the Minister of Villages and Regional Development Regulation Number 2 of 2024, which emphasises that a minimum of 20 per cent of the Village Fund must be allocated to food security programmes.
