Shifa Fauzia Wibowo, a seventh-semester student from the Management Study Programme, Faculty of Economics and Business at Nusa Mandaria University (UNM), is conducting an internship within the Development Division of the Bogor Regency District Attorney’s Office. As a Digital Business Campus, UNM’s Internship Experience Programme (IEP) 3+1 is designed to provide direct work experience within professional institutions.

Through this internship programme, Shifa has the opportunity to apply the management knowledge acquired during her studies to daily professional practices. Interacting within a government work environment provides new insights that complement her academic learning.

Shifa stated that her primary motivation for participating in the IEP 3+1 programme was to test and apply her academic understanding in a real-world setting.

“My motivation for joining this internship programme is to gain direct work experience and apply the knowledge I have studied during my university years,” said Shifa.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Nusa Mandiri Career Center (NCC), Muhammad Faisal, expressed appreciation for the students’ participation in internship programmes across various strategic institutions.

“The IEP 3+1 programme is designed as a bridge to narrow the gap between the world of education and the professional world. We hope that internship experiences, such as Shifa’s at the Bogor Regency District Attorney’s Office, can foster professionalism and career readiness among students before they graduate,” he said in a release received on Friday (2/10/2026).

Through the Internship Experience Programme (IEP) 3+1, Nusa Mandiri University remains committed to expanding partnerships with both government and private institutions.

“This field work experience is expected to produce UNM graduates who are adaptive, competent, and ready to contribute to the professional world,” he added.
