Through Free Homecoming, ANTARA Introduces Its Existence as a News Agency
Jakarta (ANTARA) - ANTARA is introducing its existence as the National News Agency to the wider public through the second wave of free homecoming with state-owned enterprises, held on Wednesday.
ANTARA’s Director of Finance and Risk Management, Aria Bimo Setyo Pramono, while seeing off the free homecoming participants from Pasar Senen Station in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, said that 80 participants in this programme were not only from ANTARA’s internal employees but also reached the general public.
Aria hopes that in the coming years, ANTARA’s free homecoming service can be better than this, with more thorough preparation and better resources.
“Of course, we will continue to improve cooperation and networking with PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) to be even better,” he said.
Through this free homecoming, Aria also hopes that the participants can enjoy more quality time with their loved ones and return home to their families with a joyful feeling.
“We see that at least when they are together with their community, they have fellow travellers with the same destination and origin, so we hope they can undertake their journey happily,” Aria stated.
Meanwhile, Fahruddin, a homecomer from Lamongan, East Java, admitted that he got to know more about ANTARA after participating in this free homecoming programme.
“Besides the easy registration, I also learned more about this News Agency that every day provides actual, important, up-to-date, and trustworthy information,” he said.
Fahruddin hopes that in the future, the free homecoming with ANTARA can be even better with more complete facilities. He admitted that he got many conveniences with this free homecoming.
“With this programme, I don’t need to compete for tickets on other platforms, the registration process is also quite easy, just by including the National ID Number (NIK), and within less than a week, there was already an announcement,” he explained.
