Danantara Indonesia is connecting the country’s strategic industries with cutting-edge technology, global innovation ecosystems, scientific expertise and long-term global capital through the Danantara Technology Innovation Investment Forum (DTIIF) 2026.

The event, to be held in Jakarta on 26–28 October 2026, will focus on six industries considered decisive for the future: energy; agriculture, food and healthcare; advanced materials and semiconductors; transport and infrastructure; finance and banking; and AI, digital infrastructure and telecommunications.

“Looking ahead, we hope Danantara will become a pioneer, a driver and a catalyst for technology-based industries in Indonesia, as well as for investment in them,” Danantara Indonesia Chief Technology Officer Sigit Puji Santosa said at a press conference in Jakarta on Monday.

Sigit said DTIIF 2026 aims to build a platform that can strengthen the industrial and investment ecosystem while supporting the Indonesian Government’s programmes.

He noted that developing technology- and innovation-based industries was a key step towards achieving the greatest possible economic impact.

Danantara therefore hopes the forum will be more than a gathering, and will produce concrete agreements and investment partnerships.

“Our measure of success is how much investment and how many partnerships or strategic partnerships we build through this forum,” Sigit said.

Danantara Indonesia Managing Director for Global Relations and Communications Pahala Nugraha Mansury said DTIIF would also provide a platform to build trust and deepen engagement with global stakeholders.

Through the forum, Danantara hopes to give international stakeholders the opportunity to see first-hand Indonesia’s capacity to develop technology and innovation, including through the contributions of researchers and academics, as well as Indonesian companies.

Pahala said direct interaction among stakeholders at the forum could demonstrate Indonesia’s commitment to building a technology and innovation ecosystem, while strengthening global partners’ confidence in investment opportunities in the country.

DTIIF 2026 is expected to attract around 1,500 participants over three days, including 170 global innovators, 131 chief executives of global technology companies, 67 research and innovation centres, and more than 50 state-owned enterprises (SOEs).

Nobel laureates, sovereign and institutional investors, government leaders, academic partners and growing start-ups are also expected to attend.

The first day will focus on setting shared priorities and developing global partnerships under the theme “Strategic Outlook and Global Partnership”.

The second day, themed “Technology, Innovation, and Investment Collaboration”, will connect technology and ideas with industry and capital.

The third day, under the theme “Youth, Inclusion, and Sustainable Future”, will focus on developing an inclusive and sustainable innovation ecosystem for future generations.

Following speeches by government leaders, ministers and global economic leaders, Danantara Indonesia’s leadership team will present its flagship investments and company portfolio during a C-suite session.
