Through AIcosystem, Telkom Strengthens National AI Collaboration at InnoVibes 2026

The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology is determined not only by innovation but also by strong collaboration in building an ecosystem capable of accelerating technology adoption while creating tangible benefits for society. Based on this premise, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) participated in InnoVibes 2026, an innovation forum initiated by DKST ITB as a platform for collaboration between industry, academia, startups, government, and digital talent to drive AI development in Indonesia. Held at the ITB Innovation Park in Bandung, InnoVibes 2026 featured a series of agendas, including Focus Group Discussions (FGD), an industry showcase, industry sharing, and networking sessions. Through the forum, participants shared insights on the development of AI technology, discussed the challenges of its implementation across various sectors, and explored collaboration opportunities to foster innovations relevant to the needs of industry and society. On the first day, Telkom’s Research & Growth Lead for AI Campus participated as a speaker in an FGD titled Integrating AI Into Business Innovation alongside representatives from ITB and Bio Farma. The discussion addressed the role of AI as a catalyst for business innovation, operational efficiency improvements, and value creation through responsible technology utilisation. InnoVibes also presented an FGD themed Leveraging AI for Cybersecurity, focusing on the use of AI to strengthen cybersecurity systems amidst the increasing complexity of digital threats. On the second day, participants attended a live podcast session titled Implementation of Artificial Intelligence in the Electronics, Creative Industry, and Defence Sectors, involving practitioners and industry players. The discussion provided an overview of AI implementation in various strategic sectors, along with the challenges and opportunities for its development. Beyond participating in the discussion forums, Telkom introduced AIcosystem during the Industry Showcase as a strategic move towards realising Indonesia’s AI Sovereignty. AIcosystem is Telkom’s AI ecosystem, developed through three main layers: AI Infrastructure, AI Models & Platform, and AI Solutions & Applications. These three layers serve as the foundation for delivering sustainable national AI innovations that provide tangible benefits across various sectors.
