Three Workers Die in East Jakarta Culvert During Water Well Cleaning

Three workers were found dead inside a culvert in the Cipayung area of East Jakarta on Thursday, reportedly while attempting to clean a water well. Cipayung Police Chief Kompol Saut Parulian Tobing confirmed the three victims. He stated that the victims were discovered by their colleagues at around 10.20 a.m. local time after they had entered the culvert to check and clean a PDAM bore well. The three victims were immediately taken to the Police Hospital in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, for further identification.
