Three-Wheeled Vehicle Plunges into Pond in Bogor, Firefighters Called to Evacuate
A three-wheeled motor vehicle plunged into a fishpond in the Bojong Baru area of Bojonggede district, Bogor, West Java. Fire brigade officers were called in to evacuate the vehicle.
“The team received a report regarding a three-wheeled vehicle that had fallen into a fishpond,” said Bogor Regency Fire Department Head Yudi Santosa on Saturday (21/2/2026).
Fire brigade officers received the incident report at approximately 03.22 local time. Residents contacted the fire service as they were unable to retrieve the vehicle themselves.
“Local residents immediately sought assistance because the vehicle was in a fairly steep and difficult-to-reach area, requiring adequate equipment for the evacuation process,” he explained.
Fire brigade officers promptly headed to the scene upon receiving the report, bringing various pieces of equipment to evacuate the vehicle.
“Officers departed at 03.22 and arrived at the location at 03.33,” he explained.
Yudi said the evacuation took officers approximately one hour to complete. The vehicle was successfully recovered from the pond.
“The final situation is that the vehicle was safely evacuated,” he concluded.
