Three Vehicles Involved in Accident on JORR Toll Road, Two People Dead

The accident occurred at around 11:30 AM on Friday (15/5). The three vehicles involved in the accident were a tractor head driven by GP (25), a box truck driven by N (39), and a pick-up truck driven by DM (45).

“All three vehicles were damaged,” said the Head of the Road Patrol Unit (PJR) of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Traffic Directorate, AKBP Reiki Indra, in a statement on Saturday (16/5/2026).

Reiki said that the box truck was initially stopped on the shoulder of the road because of a flat left rear tire and was being assisted by the pick-up truck. He said that suddenly, a tractor head came and hit the two vehicles.

“The box truck B 9715 UPA was stopped on the shoulder of the road because of a flat left rear tire and was being assisted by the pick-up truck B 9037 FVE. According to the driver of the box truck B 9715 UPA, it was suddenly hit by the tractor head B 9757 UEJ.

The final position of the three vehicles was normal on the shoulder of the road in the northern direction,” he said.

Reiki said that no vehicle documents, such as a driving license and vehicle registration, were found on the driver of the tractor head. He said that two people died in the accident, namely the driver and passenger of the pick-up truck, and they were taken to the RS Polri Kramat Jati hospital.

“Two people died and were taken to the RS Polri Kramat Jati hospital, the driver of the pick-up truck B 9037 FVE, and the passenger of the pick-up truck B 9037 FVE. One person with serious injuries was taken to the Koja Hospital, the driver of the tractor head B 9757 UEJ,” he said.
