Jakarta — PT Transjakarta diverted three bus routes, namely route 2A (Pulogadung–Rawa Buaya), route 3 (Kalideres–Monas), and route 3F (Kalideres–GBK), due to flooding and technical difficulties at several points along the busway on Monday morning.

Ayu Wardhani, Head of Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility at Transjakarta, said in Jakarta on Monday that for route 2A, although flooding had begun to recede, buses were unable to serve customers at several stops due to extensive damage to separators and MCBs along the route.

“Route 3 (Kalideres–Monas) was diverted due to infrastructure difficulties (damaged separators) on the busway,” she said.

Route 3F underwent similar diversions due to comparable obstacles on its route.

Ayu stated that four bus stops temporarily ceased service in both directions: Taman Kota Station, Jembatan Gantung Station, Pulo Nangka Station, and Jembatan Baru Station.

Meanwhile, route 3E (Sentraland Cengkareng–Puri Kembangan) was temporarily shortened to Sentraland–Jembatan Baru due to flooding approximately 50 centimetres deep at Simpang Kembangan heading towards Sentraland.

Additionally, the Mikrotrans JAK 50 service (Kalideres–Puri Kembangan) ceased operations temporarily due to accumulated water at multiple points along Jalan Raya Kresek, Jalan Palapa, the traffic light at Simpang Puri Kembangan, Pasar Laris, and Jalan Bojong Raya.

“Field teams are continuing efforts to expedite the restoration of routes to normal operations. We advise customers to remain cautious and regularly update themselves on route information,” Ayu said.
