Three TNI Soldiers Set for Sentencing in Bank Manager Kidnapping and Murder Case on June 3
Jakarta Military Court II-08 has scheduled the sentencing hearing for defendants in the alleged kidnapping and murder case of bank branch manager M Ilham Pradipta (37) for 3 June. Judge presiding, Colonel Chk Fredy Ferdian Isnartanto, said on Tuesday, 26 May 2026 as reported by Antara: “We require time until Wednesday, 3 June.” He stated that the verdict will be delivered in the afternoon after the hearing for the acid attack case involving KontraS activist Andrie Yunus. “That might also be in the afternoon, as we previously scheduled the plea hearing for the acid attack case on 3 June. Perhaps we will handle it in the morning first, then deliver the verdict in the afternoon on Wednesday, 3 June,” Fredy said. Previously, the defendants underwent the prosecution hearing on Monday, 18 May. The charges are as follows: Serka Mochamad Nasir faces 12 years in prison; Kopda Feri Herianto faces 10 years in prison; Serka Frengky Yaru faces four years in prison. Additionally, defendants one and two are also charged with dismissal from the TNI Army service. The defendants are also required to pay restitution of Rp5.8 billion to the victim’s family. The restitution claim was filed by the victim’s wife, Puspita Aulia, as the legal heir. In a letter dated 13 May 2026, the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) stated it had conducted examinations, information verification, and damage assessment for the victim and their family.
