Three Teenagers Arrested in West Jakarta for Concealing Synthetic Tobacco in Motorcycle Dashboard

Police have arrested three teenagers in Cengkareng, West Jakarta, after they were found in possession of four plastic clips containing a substance suspected to be synthetic tobacco, known locally as sinte. The arrests occurred during a routine patrol conducted by the West Jakarta Metro Police’s Precision Team in the early hours of the morning. According to officials, the teenagers were stopped because their behaviour aroused suspicion. Upon inspecting the motorcycle, officers discovered the suspected narcotics concealed within the vehicle’s dashboard. West Jakarta Metro Police Samapta Head, Commissioner Eko Adi Setiawan, confirmed that the three individuals, identified by their initials NAR, NAJ, and DP, were immediately detained. In addition to the suspected drugs, officers also seized two mobile phones, the motorcycle used by the suspects, and Rp 50,000 in cash. The suspects and all evidence have been transferred to the Cengkareng Police Sector for further processing. Cengkareng Police Chief, Assistant Superintendent Rahis Fadhlillah, stated that a comprehensive investigation and inquiry are currently underway to uncover the full facts of the case.
