Dompu Police have arrested three students in Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), on suspicion of being part of a methamphetamine-dealing syndicate.

According to detikBali on Thursday (29 October 2026), the students, identified by the initials MA (17), MR (15) and I (15), were arrested on Tuesday night (27 October) in a rented room in Woja District, Dompu. Police found them with methamphetamine ready for distribution.

“All three are underage and still students,” Dompu Police Narcotics Unit chief Iptu Ade Helmi said in a statement on Wednesday (28 October).

When arrested, the students said they had obtained the drugs from a young man staying in a rented room in Bali Bunga neighbourhood, Kandai II subdistrict. Police went to the room, but the man had fled.

Police then searched the premises and found several items of evidence, including 4 grams of methamphetamine packaged for distribution, a complete drug-use apparatus and other equipment for packaging methamphetamine.

“Officers also pursued someone suspected of supplying the drugs. However, the person managed to escape and is currently being sought as investigators continue to look into the case,” Ade Helmi said.
