Three-Star General Officially Appointed as Pangdam Jaya

JAKARTA - The position of Commander of the Military Regional Command Jayakarta (Pangdam Jaya) has been officially assumed by a three-star TNI high-ranking officer.

This was announced in a press release from the TNI Information Centre (Puspen TNI), which reported on the promotion of 57 TNI high-ranking officers, comprising 47 from the Army, 9 from the Navy, and 1 from the Air Force.

The promotion ceremony was led by TNI Chief General Agus Subiyanto at the Gatot Soebroto Hall, TNI Headquarters, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, on Thursday (26/3/2026). Among those from the Army were Pangdam Jaya (organisational validation) Lieutenant General TNI Deddy Suryadi and Pangkogabwilhan III Lieutenant General TNI Lucky Avianto.

From the Air Force, it was Permanent Lecturer at the National Defence University (Unhan) Air Marshal TNI Sigit Sasongko.

In addition to promotions, the TNI Chief also inaugurated several strategic positions within the TNI.

The position of Commander of the Joint Regional Defence Command (Pangkogabwilhan) III was handed over from Lieutenant General TNI Bambang Trisnohadi to Lieutenant General TNI Lucky Avianto.

Previously, Lucky served as Commander of the Military Regional Command (Pangdam) XVIII/Kasuari.

Additionally, Major General TNI Tugino, who previously held the position of Head of the High Military Audit Office (Kaotmilti) II Jakarta, has been appointed as TNI Chief Auditor (Orjen) TNI.

This inauguration, handover of positions, and promotions are described as part of the TNI’s efforts to strengthen the organisation through regeneration of professional and adaptive leadership to face the dynamics of duties.
