The three Customs officials examined today are Khanan, Budi Winanto, and Sutopo. In addition to the three Customs personnel, the KPK summoned three private sector witnesses: Ign Denny Narendra, Dana, and Aditya Rahman Rony Putra. Additionally, the KPK questioned Heri regarding the Semarang raid, during which records of payments to the Directorate General of Customs and Excise were found. ‘Investigators are probing the findings from the Semarang raid, including records of payments made to the Directorate General of Customs and Excise,’ he added. Regarding the import corruption case at the DJBC, the KPK initially named six suspects following a sting operation at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) in an import bribery case. The agency seized evidence worth a total of Rp 40.5 billion. Seized evidence included Rp 1.89 billion in rupiah, USD 182,900, SGD 1.48 million, JPY 55,000, 2.5kg of gold bullion equivalent to Rp 7.4 billion, 2.8kg of gold bullion equivalent to Rp 8.3 billion, and a luxury watch valued at Rp 138 million. Three private individuals involved in the case have already faced trial. They are John Field, head of Blueray Cargo; Deddy Kurniawan Sukolo, operational manager of Blueray Cargo; and Andri, head of the document team at Blueray Cargo. The three Blueray Cargo executives are charged with providing SGD 61.3 billion and facilities and luxury items worth Rp 1.8 billion.
