The Dompu District Prosecutor’s Office (Kejari Dompu) holds evidence of an alleged extortion of Rp 30 million involving three prosecutors with initials J, IS, and C (previously reported as K) against Pajo District Head Imran. The documents have been submitted to the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) High Prosecutor’s Office (Kejati NTB).

“The evidence we provided to Kejari consists of attachments from the Pajo District Head’s court decision. Other evidence related to the extortion is still awaited from the district head’s side,” stated the Head of Intelligence Section at Kejari Dompu, Dany Curia Novitawan, on Thursday (9/4/2026).

Dany explained that as of now, neither Imran nor his family has submitted an official report to Kejati NTB, despite the extortion allegations having surfaced publicly.

Nevertheless, Dany continued, such admissions have the potential to damage the reputation of the Prosecutor’s Office institution. However, if proven, the case could also implicate the rogue prosecutors suspected of extorting parties involved in legal matters.

“Until now, there has been no report at all from the Pajo District Head to the Supervision Division of Kejati NTB,” Dany revealed.

The three prosecutors have now been transferred to other district prosecutor’s offices in Indonesia. Dany affirmed that his office is ready to provide statements if requested by Kejati NTB.

“As of now, we have not been summoned to clarify regarding the three rogue prosecutors, as they are no longer assigned to Kejari Dompu. We await the process, and when needed, we are prepared,” he said.

The extortion allegations emerged from Pajo District Head Imran’s admission when he was escorted to the Class IIB Dompu Penitentiary by prosecutors on Monday (30/3/2026) afternoon. Imran is a convict in an assault case against a resident.

Imran named the three prosecutors allegedly extorting him: the former Head of Intelligence Section with initials J, the former Head of General Criminal Section with initials C, and the former Head of Special Criminal Section with initials IS. The three are suspected of carrying out the extortion while still assigned to Kejari Dompu and have now been transferred to other postings.
