The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has conducted a large-scale rotation of several regional police chief positions. Three of these changes involve chiefs within the legal jurisdiction of the Metro Jaya Regional Police.

The mutations are detailed in three Telegram Letters, numbered ST/1877/VIII/KEP/2026, ST/1878/VIII/KEP./2026, and ST/1879/VIII/KEP./2026. These letters were issued on Sunday, 30 August 2026.

The three police chiefs within the Metro Jaya region affected by the mutation include the North Jakarta Metro Police Chief, the Tangerang Kota Metro Police Chief, and the Bekasi Metro Police Chief. These rotations are carried out in the context of the 2026 High-Level Leadership Development Programme (Dikbangti).

The list of the three police chiefs is as follows:

  1. North Jakarta Metro Police Chief: Kombes Erick Frendriz is replaced by Kombes Adhie Hariadi.

  2. Tangerang Kota Metro Police Chief: Kombes Raden Muhammad Jauhari is replaced by Kombes Eko Bagus Riyadi.

  3. Bekasi Metro Police Chief: Kombes Sumarni is replaced by Kombes Andi Oddang Riuh Hutomo.

In addition to the police chiefs in the Metro Jaya region, several chiefs in other regional police commands have also undergone rotation. This includes the Bandung City Police Chief, now held by Kombes Tri Suhartono.

The Sragen Police Chief has been entrusted to AKBP Heru Antariska Cahya, while the Tegal Police Chief position is now filled by AKBP Christian Chrisye Lolowang.

Furthermore, the Palangka Raya City Police Chief for the Central Kalimantan Regional Police is now held by Kombes Andiyatna. Additionally, AKBP Agung Adhitya Pranata has been appointed to a new position as the Ogan Komering Ilir Police Chief.

Within the jurisdiction of the Riau Regional Police, three police chiefs have also been rotated. The Bengkalis Police Chief is now held by AKBP Eko Rubiyanto, AKBP John Louis Letedara has been appointed as the Indragiri Hulu Police Chief, and AKBP Ahmad Nur has been appointed as the Pelalawan Police Chief.

Several police chiefs in the Aceh Regional Police have also been mutated. These include AKBP Muhamad Taufiq, who has been appointed as the Nagan Raya Police Chief, and AKBP Tegus Siswoyo, who will take over as the Central Aceh Police Chief.
